Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is used to determine the mechanical resistance of liners as input for deciding whether to change ball size or other variables that could affect the performance or duration of grinding media.
FE analyses are performed on the ANSYS and Inventor platforms.

With the help of DEM simulations performed on the EDEM platform, we are able to project mill charge trajectories, issue Ramp Up proposals, and simulate the number of effective collisions for different particle sizes and collision energies generated at different stages of a campaign.

We use JKSimMet models to carry out diagnostic studies on the grinding process. These are based on surveys and analyses of key operating variables, power models to control ball charge levels, and tools to boost metallurgists’ management capacity (ME Elecmetal – Grinding Apps).
